甜根子草 編織文創精品

每年9月至10月是曾文溪畔甜根子草盛開季節，吸引眾多攝影愛好者前來取景，位於曾文溪畔的台南大內石子瀨社區，為發展地方特色，因地利之便利用甜根子草製作手工藝品，編製成的文武神轎也成為社區特色藝品。
石子瀨社區發展協會理事長曾博揚表示，為爭取文化局社區營造經費補助，社區聘請台南市天靈協會周喜城老師，指導志工利用在地產的甜根子草製成文武神轎。神轎的材料除了甜根子草外，屋頂以蓮花金紙包覆甜根子草裝飾，轎子上還有令旗、涼傘等，栩栩如生相當討喜。
曾博揚表示，文武神轎推出後，也成社區招牌手工藝品，23日將參加在台南新化舉辦的社區聯合成果展；他們也將再請老師來前來研發教導製作精進版，全部以手工編製不用膠水黏合。
除了文武神轎，社區也聘請竹編老師徐碧霞來教導志工製作筆筒、墊子、盆栽籃、拍打棒，還有用甜根子草花製成的迷你掃把。曾博揚說，每年10月左右志工們一起到曾文溪畔採收甜根子草，不但活絡社區居們感情，也希望甜根子草藝品發展成在地特色文創產業，替居民增加收入。
